Many musicians, patrons, school children, seniors, students, families and young professional performers benefit from NYCO’s contributions to our community and its culture.

NYCO supports a diverse and inclusive membership of over 50 musicians who perform in the  Orchestra and Chamber Players.

An impactful outreach program of free concerts performed in schools, community housing facilities, long-term care residences and community centres provides enrichment and learning opportunities to many groups of citizens.

The North York Concert Orchestra Society is a non-for-profit registered charity dedicated to the performance of classical music encouraging participation and development among a large community membership, and appreciation and enrichment for a broad public. We strongly believe in our mission of bringing music to the community, and use revenue generated from our public concerts to enable us to offer free concerts in community centres, long-term care facilities and public schools.

In addition to the funds generated through our concert ticket sales, we also rely on donations made by you to fulfill this mandate.
