We rehearse on Wednesday evenings, from 7:30 to 10 pm, at York Mills Collegiate Institute, 490 York Mills Road (between Bayview and Leslie), North York.

Our first rehearsal for the “Cello Nights” programme will take place on Wednesday April 4th, 2012 at St Andrews Junior High School, 131 Fenn Avenue, North York (off York Mills Road).
Our first rehearsal of the 2012-13 season will take place on Wednesday September 12th, 2012.
We don’t have formal auditions; instead, we invite new players to sit in for a couple of rehearsals as an informal audition and to see how compatible we are.
If you are offered a permanent position and decide to continue playing in the orchestra, you will be expected to pay a membership fee and purchase a subscription, both of which are essential to the orchestra’s ability to operate and provide the music-making environment that we all enjoy.
The annual membership fee is $120 ($90 for full-time students), pro rata for joining after the first concert.
Members are obliged to purchase one adult or senior subscription ticket to each concert for which their instrument is scored (student members may purchase student tickets).
If you are interested in joining, please contact us here (select the “Join our orchestra” subject).
